Emilie is a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Multimodal Imaging and Genetics at UCSD, where she uses MRI to study brain changes in aging and disease.

Outside of lab she finds intoxication from long runs and sharing the joys of running with others as a distance running coach. She loves to write and serves as editor for the PLOS Neuroscience Community. Here, she also rambles about running and shares some of the secrets we’re discovering about the brain.
